Particles 2016
Immersive projection environment echoing the sublime beauty of the Cosmos, commissioned by the Royal Astronomical Society to commemorate their 200th anniversary. Presented at the Urdd Eisteddfod and the National Eisteddfod of Wales.
Developed in collaboration with physicists in Space Science from Aberystwyth University, hypnotic visuals inspired by celestial occurrences, were projected around the space, much like a planetarium. A large domed mirror in the centre of the room creates an illusionary viewing experience within it's optical depth.
The piece incorporates NASA footage of the Sun, accompanied by a soundscape composed from NASA audio recordings.
