White Lines 2009

Temporary installation using reflective fabric. 40 x 35m

Rectangular planters wrapped in light reflecting fabric came to life after dark.  In the emptiness of the car park at night, linear patterns of white light were caught in car headlights as viewers drove around the geometric layout.

Spectrum 2009
32m

Permanent architectural illumination of Ruthin Craft Centre.

A projected 'spectrum' of colour becomes visible as darkness falls, transforming the building's surface as a blank canvas with which to paint with light.

Capsule 2009
200cm x 105cm x 70cm

Mirror finish industrial glass neon sculpture developed in response to the electrical and industrial features of an empty workshop space at Ruthin Craft Centre. The work conveys ideas about the human pursuit to capture and store energy.
